The physical proportions
They look like Saturn to me
but I’m hot on another planet
every time you get closer, closer
as Mars approaches
The red glow as my witness
and you turn into a meteor shower
Closer more so than the others
I am your Venus tickled pink.
Splintered with your brightness
A star doesn’t burn forever
Who would care when we have each other?
Halley’s comet couldn’t catch us
not since it hardly comes around often
Sometimes cold as Pluto
but really I don’t mean to
Only when the night is cloudy
do I get farther from Uranus and solar brothers
Eventually back I come to visit
Mercury and Neptune, until then
catch us on Jupiter
because learning to get closer, closer
has never taken so beautifully long
Moving slow after we land on Earth
It reaches the Sun’s rays no problem

The universe has spoken
Or did it write a poem?
It wrote that bad signs aren’t here
To keep people living in fear
Like art is created from fright
Dark days have ability to bring light
There is joy even in a second
Like animals are sent
from a place resembling heaven
No money that can be touched is real
From Mother Nature you shouldn’t steal
Sustenance surely has a limit
There’s no possible way to truly fulfill it
Destiny will reveal others meant to meet
And some you should simply greet
Personal patterns are apparent
Only individuals have the power to change them
Love really can exist
and does
If there is a steady patience
Take care of yourself and those who are true
And the universe just might speak to you.
